  Co. B. went from Dale County Ala, Where we elected company officers , to 
Eufala, to Columbus Ga. to Montgomery Ala, to Pensacola Fla, quartered in Fort 
McRee Pensacola, Fla.X and drew uniforms. X Muskets and accoutrements and 
elected regimental officers.
  Formed in the 33 rd Ala, at Montgomery. Went to Mobile Ala, to Corrinth Miss, 
and faced, U.S. gel, HALLOCK, evacuayed Corinth and marched to Tupelo Miss, 
then on cars to Chattanooga Tenn, Marched acrossed the river on ferry boats 
Marched over WALDINS Ridge, Sequtchee Valley and river, went near McMinville, 
through Sparty and Crabapple. Had a fight at Mumfordville Ky, took 4400 
presoners. Crossed Grenn River on R.R. bridge through Harrordsburg and 
Bargetown, Got to Perryville Ky. Oct. 1862 with 32 men officers included in Co. 
B. passed through town, was formed on a ridge to the North of the pike road and 
town.
  They commenced shelling us.
  Our Capt. SIMPLES battery came up and an artillery duel, across the field to 
the West on another ridge we could see their line
