Again on cars to Bridge Port Ala. the bridge being burned we crossed on a 
pontoon to Stevison, Marched to Shebbiville,  to Tryune where the snow lay on 
the ground a month, had a fight and went to Murpheysburrow where we had a big 
fight, to Tulahoma where some of the regiment has sallpox (sic), wintered here, 
to Wartrace, to Belbuckle and had a fight, they flanked us and we fell back to 
Chattanooga crossing the river on a pontoon, to Harrison, to Chattanooga,  to 
Maclemores cove where we had a fight, to Chicam_uega, Ga. where we had a two 
day fight, to Missionary Ridge Tenn, had a fight, held our works till after 
dark then fell back to Ringold Ga, where we had a fight on the mountain, were 
flanked again and fell back to Tunnel Hill, and built winters huts above the 
tunnel to Dalton,
