Coers Held Today Funeral services will be held here today for Warrant Officer Barry Bryant Coers, 20. from the Ozark Presbyterian Church at 3 P.m. WO Coers died in Vietnam on August 25. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Pat McGee Coers Of Headland: parents. Lt. Col.(Ret.) and Mrs. David H. Coers of Newville. Rt.2. (Echo community): a brother Kit Coers Echo; tWo sisters, Mrs Bob McGraw Opelika; Mrs. Steve Green, Midland City; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Pevey. Bogolusa, La.; and Mrs. David H. Coers. Sr. Houston, Tex. Officiating will be Rev. John D, Reese. III, pastor of the Ozark Presbyterian Church and the Rev. John F. Lindsey, pastor of the Headland First Baptist Church. Interment will be in Gardens of Memory near Headland with Headland Mortuary directiins. Full military rites will be rendered. The family has requested that flowers be omitted. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Mr. Coers was a 1966 graduate of Carroll High School and was a member of the Ozark Presbyterian Church. He was graduated from the U. S. Anny Aviation SchOOl, Fort Rucker in April as a fixed wing pilot, and had been In Vietnam since May where he was stationed at Xuan LOC.
