               Needham G. Marley
                  1933-1936
  Needham G. Marley, born Ocober 13, 1885, near Ozark, was the son of L, E. and 
Mary (Garner) Marley.
  He attended McSwain school in Dale County and later went into the contracting 
and lumber businesses in Ozark. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church 
and Masonic LodgeNo. 349 of Ozark.
  On December 19, 1921, at Echo, he married Jewell V. Brown, daughter of Wesley 
E. and Alabama Brown, They had three daughters, Mary V., Nina
Ruth, and Luanna, and two sons, Needham, Jr., and Sam Brown.
  Mr. Marley died January 1, 1954.
