Dr. A. D. Matthews Prominent Physician Moves To Ozark Dr. A. D. Matthews, prominent physician of Ariton, moved his family to Ozark Monday and will rnake his home here. He has been a practicing physician in this county for a number of years and has a large clientele. While he has lived at Ariton his practice has extended over a wide territory. Dr. Matthews and his family occupy an apartment on Broad Street His office is in tlie City Bank bldg. Dr. Matthews is one of the county's leading citizens us well as a popular and successful physician. He has been actively indentified in every progressive movement, started for the advancement and upbuilding of the County. He has given liberally of his time and means in civic work. For many years he has been a member of the County Board of Education and is at present Vice Chairman of that. body. The citizenship of the city join us in extending a most cordial welcome to Dr. Matthews and his excellent family. * Dr. Augustus Douglas Matthews b. Oct.9, 1886 d. Feb.20, 1959 son of Thomas Monroe and Ella Fair Trant Matthews. Buried Mt. Olive Cem. Rocky Head Comm. Ariton, Al. Tomie Fain Matthews, b. Oct.16, 1889, d. Jan.19, 1982, wife of A.D.
