Anglin was dead. Mr. Anglin was at his place ot business Until noon today, and few people were aware that he had an attack In the afternoon which resulted in his death about 5 p. m. Funeral arrangements have not been completed and their announcement will be carried in our next Issue. Mr. Anglin is survived by his widow, who was Miss Jimmie Yarbrough, two brothers, W. J. D. and Jesse, business men of Ozark, one niece, Mrs. T. C. Godwin, also of Ozark, besides other relatives. Mr. Anglin was a native Of Bullock County, being born near Union Springs in 1866. In 1890 he came to Ozark and engaged in business, making this city his home continuously since that time. With Mr. H. Q. Bryans he organized the mercantile firm of Angl[n & Bryans in 1899, which Is still a business concern ot the city. During the 35 years of residence in Ozark, Mr. Anglin has been a leader in civic, Social and religious affairs. For 30 years, he was a member of the City Council, serving with, honor and distinction to himself and to the benefit of his city. He, for a still longer period has been a deacon of the Baptist church and one of the leading spirits in the church. He was ever heart and soul in any enterprise for the good of his community and its affairs. In the social life he was ever a leading spirit. Although In late years, not so active In the affairs of the city, he ever maintained a live interest in the growth and prosperity of his adopted home town, and those charged with immediate responsibility could always get from him good council and splendid moral support in discharge of their duties. He will be sorely missed among us. To the bereaved ones, the Star tenders its sympathy. * John A.
