Dale County.         )  To any Ordained or Licensed Ministor of the Gospel, 
                        Judge of the Circuit, or Probate Courts, or Justice of
                        the Peace for said County--GREETING:

You are hereby authorized to celebrate the Rites of Matrimony between D. L. 
Wiggins and Miss Mary C. Culverhouse and this shall be your sufficient 
authority for so ding.  Given under my hand and seal this 22 day of Aug 1908.

D. L. Wiggins was Adolphus L. Wiggins, "Dock."  Mary C. Culverhouse was Mary 
Catherine Culverhouse "Kate."  Mary C. Culverhouse was a sister of my 
grandmother, Susannah Ellender Culverhouse and a daughter of William Albert 
Culverhouse.
