Wm. B. Haralson and family, are respectfully invited to attend his funeral this morning at 9 o’clock from the Baptist Church. We regret to chronicle the death at his residence in East Selma yesterday, of the venerable Col. W. B. Haralson, who has been in feeble health for some time past. Col. Haralson was one of the oldest men in this community, lacking but a few days of being eighty years of age. Though not a native of Alabama, he had been a citizen of the State for more than fifty years. A good man and a _____ citizen has fallen. Information of his death did not reach us till dark last night, hence this brief notice. Additional Comments" William Browning Haralson is buried in Old Live Oak Cemetery, Selma, Dallas County, Alabama. Jonathan was a justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. William Browning Haralson was a son of Jonathan Anderson Haralson and Clara Browning. He was born June 10, 1799 in Greene Co., Georgia. Jonathan was the son of Paul H. & Nancy Lea Haralson. Clara Browning was the daughter of John Browning (Sr.) of Greene County, GA. Clara first married David Culbertson in Caswell Co., NC.
