Dec. 9, 1854 - The N. C. "Argus"
    MARRIED, at Summerfield, Ala., on the 22nd ult., Rev. Bishop Andew of the 
M. E. Church South, to Mrs. Childers.

Additional Comments:

Emily Wingfield Sims was the second wife of George Childers.  He died in 1853.  

The Reverend Bishop James Osgood Andrew presided over the split of the Methodist 
Church before the Civil War.
