MARRIAGE LICENSE

THE STATE OF ALABAMA, DALLAS COUNTY:

To any ordained or Licensed Minister of the Gospel in regular communion with 
the Christian Church or society of which he is a member, or Judge of the 
Supreme, Circuit or City Court, or Chancellor within the State, or Judge of 
Probate, or Justice of the Peace within their respective Counties:

You are hereby authorized to solemnize marriage between Dennis Graham, Colored, 
and Ida Hatcher, Colored, and to join them together in matrimony.

Given under my hand 30th day of December 1884.

                                                   P.G. Wood, Probate Judge.

Marriage between the persons named in the foregoing license was solemnized by 
me at W.E. Day Plant. in Dallas County, Alabama, on the 1 day of Feby 1885.

                                                   Burrell Canty

THE STATE OF ALABAMA, DALLAS COUNTY.              

                                         Before me, P.G. Wood, Probate Judge

in and for said County, in said State, personally came Burrell Canty who, on 
oath to him by me administered, deposes and says that he desires to procure a 
marriage license for Dennis Graham, Colored, and Ida Hatcher, Colored; that the 
said Dennis Graham is 21 years of age, and has no wife; that the said Ida is 
over 18 years of age, and resides in Dallas County, Alabama, and has no 
husband; and that her mother Betsey Hatcher has consented to the marriage of 
said persons.

                                                     Burrell Canty

Sworn to and subscribed before me, on this the 30th day of Dec. 1884
