MARRIAGE LICENSE.

The State of Alabama, Dallas County : to any Licensed Minister of the Gospel in 
regular commission with the Christian Church or society of which he is a 
member, or Judge of the Supreme, Circuit or City Court, or Chancellor within 
the State, or Judge of Probate, or Justice of the Peace within their respective 
Counties:

You are hereby authorized to solemnize marraige between Thomas B. Collins, 
Colored, and Emma Webster, Colored, and to join them together in matrimony.

Given under my hand 18th day of October 1883.

                                                P. G. Wood, Probate Judge.

Marriage between the persons named in the foregoing license was solemized by me 
at R. N. Langfords in Dallas County, Alabama, on the 18 day of Oct 1883.

THE STATE OF ALABAMA, DALLAS COUNTY.

                                        Before me, P.G. Wood, Probate Judge

in and for said County, in said State, personally came Thomas B. Collins who, 
on oath to him by me administered, deposes and says that he desires to procure 
a marriage license for himself, Colored, and Emma Webster, Colored; that the 
said Thomas is over 22 years of age, and has no wife; that the said Emma 
Webster is over 18 years of age, and resides in Dallas County, Alabama, and has 
no husband; and that her mother Charlotte Givhan has consented to the marriage 
of said persons.

Sworn to and subscribed before me, on this the 18th day of October 1883.
