This file was contributed by: Karen Saferite ==================================================================== February 2001 From Highway 117 in Mentone travel toward Georgia approximately 1 mile past Mentone city limit sign, turn right onto County Road 642 I have divided the cemetery into four sections. Section A begins at the front corner of the cemetery nearest the church and goes to a point approximately halfway across the cemetery, in line with the flagpole. Section B begins in the center of the cemetery in line with the flagpole and continues to the driveway on the lower side. Section C is the area located behind the church. Section D is the newest part of the cemetery, on the back side, across the driveway, going back to the woods. A few things to note: Anything that follows (F) refers to inscription on a marker at the foot of the grave. (VA) means that the marker is a military marker. Two entries together with no blank line between them, indicates that they share a marker. Anything in parenthesis is extra description of the tombstone or information that I happen to know about the person buried there.
