The graves are now in the woods. There are a few marked graves, but it's obvious from the many sunken places that there are many more that are unmarked. There is a dirt road going up the hill right across the road from the Valley Head Park. The cemetery is in the woods, near the top of the hill, on the left side of the dirt road. Watch for snakes; we found one. Many gravestones have been broken. Linda Hawkins Wilson, Verenice Cooper Hawkins, and Sue Forrester surveyed the cemetery in 1997.
