Deed from G. W. and M.A. Rucks to W.B. Rucks
DeKalb County, Alabama Deed Book H, page 545
January, 5, 1874

This indenture made this the 5th day of January AD 1874 between G.W. and M.A. 
Rucks of the county of DeKalb and the State of Alabama of part and W.B. Ruck 
of the same county and State of the second part witnesseth that whereas the 
party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred 
dollars to him in hand paid the receipt hereof is hereby acknowledged has this 
day bargained and sold and conveyed and by these presents doth bargain and 
convey unto the said W.B. Ruck his heirs and assigns forever all that certain 
tract or parcel of land known and distinguished as the North ½, SE ¼, Section 
6 in Township 8 Range 7 in the Coosa Land District have and hold to the said 
W.B. Ruck heirs and assigns forever together with all the right privileges and 
appertaining thereunto belonging or in any use appertaining and the party of 
the first themselves their heirs and executors and administrators and by these 
presents will forever warrant and defend the title and possession of the said 
land and covenant to and with the said W.B. Rucks his heirs and assigns that 
the said land and every part thereof is free from all claim and encumbrance 
and from all and every person or persons whatever.
In testimony whereof the party hath hereunto set their hand affixed their seal 
this day and date above written.
