Wesson DeKalb County, Alabama Deed Book G, page 462 07 September 1866 State of Alabama, DeKalb County This indenture made and entered into this the seventh day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty six between Tolapher S. Driskill and Elizabeth Driskill his wife of the County and State aforesaid of the first part and J. W. Wesson of the second part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars in hand paid by the said J.W. Wesson unto the said Tolapher Driskill and Elizabeth Driskill his wife the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged. The said Tolapher Driskill and Elizabeth Driskill have the day of the date hereby bargained sold aliened *enfeeoff and conveyed and by these presents do bargain sell alien *enfeeoff and convey unto the said J.W. Wesson all that certain tract or parcels of land lying and being in the County and State aforesaid it being in the eastern part of the northwest quarter of Section twenty five of Township eight and Range seven in the Coosa Land District. Beginning in the northern boundary of said go off a stake about halfway between the big road and the lot of land now in occupancy of Thomas Morris from thence a southeastern direction to the largest sink hole in the field a northeastern course from the dwelling house now occupied by Elizabeth Driskill. Thence to the spring branch thence up the branch to the cross fence some ten or fifteen rods thence along the said fence to an ash tree in the head of a wet weather spring thence a direct course to the lot of land owned by S.C. Smith thence East with the southern of said quarter to the corner and thence north to the corner of the said quarter and from thence to the place of beginning containing seventy acres be the same more or less to have and to hold the above described and hereby conveyed lot or parcel of land unto the said J.W. Wesson his heirs administrators or assigns forever ands the said Tolapher and Elizabeth Driskill his wife for themselves and their heirs administrators or to the said warrant and will forever defend the title of land to the said J.W. Wesson against the land title claims or demands of all and every person or persons whatsoever claiming or holding by from under them the said Tolapher and Elizabeth Driskillor from under the Government of the United States in witness whereof the parties have hereunto set their hands and seals the date first above written.
