JOHN BATY DIES.

Mr. John Baty, 69, died Sunday at his home three miles east of Mentone, Ala.  
He had been a resident of that community more than 25 years, moving there from 
Sand Mountain.  He had for years been a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at the home, Rev. J. M. White 
officiating, interment in Bankhead cemetery.
Mr. Baty is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Jess Kirby, Mrs. Dolph 
Johnson and Mrs. Flarity and five sons, Steve, George, Harris, Norris and 
Will, as well as many grandchildren.

[I would like to contact living male descendants of John Baty who would be 
willing to participate in a DNA project.  I believe I am distantly related to 
this family--my brother has submitted DNA and I would like to compare with a 
male descendant of John Baty.  I would be willing to pay for the test.]
