Pubished Thursday, December 1, 1955 in The Boaz Leader
Funeral services for Mr. Rufus John Bauldwin, age 69, who passed away at his 
home Monday on Boaz Rt. 5 following an extended illness were held Wednesday, N 
ovember 16th at 2:30 p. m. from Lathemville Baptist Church.  Officiating was 
Rev, O'Kelly from Rockmart, Ga.  Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Gore-
Brown directing.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Susia Bauldwin; 4 sons, Grady, Boaz Rt. 5, 
Thurlow, Anniston, W. T. Atlanta, Ga., Alford, Boaz Rt. 5; 5 daughters, Mrs. 
Ora Bullington, Atlanta, Ga., Thelma Bauldwin, Rome, Ga., Mrs. Alvie Gloover, 
Rome, Ga., Mrs. Jesker Saxton, Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Ettmer Saxton, Atlanta, Ga. ; 
1 brother, Mr. Marshall C. Bauldwin, Albertville Rt. 2; 3 sisters, Mrs. 
Arizonia Teague, Boaz Rt. 6, Miss Josephine Bauldwin, Albertville Rt. 3, Mrs 
Dovie Smith, Anniston; 27 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
