Services Held On Wednesday For Mr. Arthur T. Leavell

Arthur T. Leavell, 72, of Fort Payne, Route four, passed away in the DeKalb 
Hospital, Monday at 3:30 p.m. following a four years illness.  He was born in 
Jamestown, Ala, but had lived in the Adamsburg community for the past 22 
years.  He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Bethel Methodist 
Church. Mr. Leavell was a member of the Jamestown Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maude Little Leavell, one daughter Mrs. 
Naomie Bullard, and one grandson, Gerald Bullard all of Fort Payne, Route four.
Funeral services were held yesterday, 2:00p.m., at the Liberty Hill Baptist 
Church.  Nephews were pallbearers, Milford Miller, Clyde Miller, Gordon 
Miller, Felton Miller, Marvin and Roy Tucker.
Burial was in the Adamsburg Cemetery with Masonic graveside services. Wilson 
Funeral Home in charge.
