Mrs. Maggie Morgan, born Parish, the beloved wife of Samuel T. Morgan, of this place, died of heart disease on Saturday last at the residence of her father in Fort Payne. The dead summons came without a moment’s warning; but she had been a consistent and faithful member of the Methodist church, and was prepared for the messenger that translated her to immortality. She was yet a young woman, the wife of a fond husband, the mother of two lovely children, and in the ordinary course of nature had reasonable expectation of many years of happy life in this world. She has been taken hence to a fairer and better land, where there is no more sin or sorrow or sickness or death; and those she loved so well and who so dearly loved her, left behind for a time, mourn their loss while rejoicing in her deliverance. Mrs. Morgan was about thirty years of age, and had been married four or five years.
