Mrs. Tobe Walker Killed.

A distressing accident Sunday resulted in the death of Mrs. Tobe Walker, an 
estimable woman of Lookout Mountain.  Mrs. Walker and her husband were on 
their way to church and stopped at Doc Hulgan’s for a drink of water.  Mr. 
Walker got out and his wife had just started to alignt when the horse became 
frightened and ran.  After going a short distance Mrs. Walker either jumped or 
fell from the buggy and in falling struck her head on a rock breaking the 
skull and inflicting injuries from which she died in about thirty minutes.  A 
physician was hurriedly summoned but the woman was dead when he reached the 
scene.  The accident happened just on tope of the mountain about two miles 
from Fort Payne.  Mr. Walker lives near Adamsburg.
