Claude E. Wade, age 67, of Route Three, Albertville, Ala. died Friday, December 
27, 1974 at Boaz-Albertville Hospital. Mr. Wade was a former resident of Henagar, 
Route Three. 

A funeral will be held Sunday, December 29, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Home Church with 
the Rev. Tom Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, under 
the direction of Burt-Kerby Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Wade of Albertville; two sons, J. W. Wade 
of Texas and Leon Wade of Route Three, Henagar; four daughters, Mrs. Flora Bell 
Scruggs, Mrs. Faye Nell Shankles, both of Chickamauga, Ga., Mrs. Leonard Smith 
and Mrs. Reba York, both of Henagar; twenty-one grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. 
Alice Shaw of Lafayette, Ga.; two brothers, Paul Wade of Henagar, Jim Wade of 
Rossville, Ga.; four sisters, Mrs. Flossie Crow of Kennington, Ga., Mrs. Inez 
Troxell of Henagar, Mrs. Hattie Langford of Florida, and Mrs. Opal Guinn of 
Lafayette, Ga.
