Additional Comments:
Emmett had a massive stroke on July 15 or 16. His wife, Jewell found him on 
the bedroom floor the following morning. He was carried to Birmingham, where 
he later died.

The informant was undoubtedly his wife, Jewell. The certificate lists his 
birthplace as Alabama. He was actually born in Haralson County, Georgia. His 
mother was also born in Georgia - his father in Tennessee. His family lived in 
Georgia until the 1920's, when they moved to Sand Mountain, DeKalb County. His 
family (mother and some siblings)are buried at Lusk Chapel Cemetery.

Emmett and Jewell were the parents of one child, Rieta Sue Westmoreland 
Driskill.
