DeKalb County Marriage Book E, page 175
To any Licensed Minister of the Gospel in regular communion with the Christian 
Church or society of which he is a member, or Judge of the Supreme, Circuit, 
or City Court, or Chancellor within the State, or Judge of Probate, or Justice 
of the Peace within their respective Counties - Greeting:

You are hereby authorized to solemnize the marriage between Mr. William S. 
Chambers and Miss Mary A. Davis and join them together in matrimony, and 
certify the same in writing to this office, as required by law.

Given under my hand 4 day of August A.D. 1893
W.C.D. Cook, Judge of Probate

This certifies that I have solemnized Marriage between Mr. W.S. Chambers and 
Miss M.A. Davis according to law, at the bride's father's in said County and 
State on the 6 day of August 1893.
