The state of Alabama: To any judge DeKalb county or minister of the gospel or 
justice of the peace in and for said county.  You are hereby legally 
authorized to celebrate and solemnize the rights of matrimoney between James 
F. Rucks and Mary Jane Nicholson and this shall be your warrant for so doing  
and all return make as the law ???.  
Given under my hand this 6th day of Nov. 1861.   R. Estis  Judge of Probate.
