It is located on old county road #471 in Elmore County. This road is now named Estes-Butler Road. My maiden name was Butler and both sets of my grandparents plus two infants. There is another grave that is marked Graham. The story goes that in the early to mid 1800, there was a wagon train coming through this area and this family had a small son about 8-10 years old and he was bitten by a rattlesnake. He died shortly thereafter and was buried on this spot. My uncle has poured a concrete slab and imbedded a big rock for the head stone. Previously, it was just marked with a small rock about 8-10 inches tall. Following is a list of the graves: A. G. Estes b. Nov 25, 1846 - d. Nov 12, 1911 (Masonic Emblem) M. E. Estes w/o A.G.
