Anthony, Mr. Evander, a resident of Wetumpka, AL, died Saturday, January 23,
1999.  The funeral will be Saturday, January 30, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at New Style
United Methodist Church-Hwy 14, Wetumpka, AL with Rev. Thomas Lewis officating,
Rev. Ron McCants, Pastor. Interment at the New Style-Geeter Memorial Cemetery. 
He is survived by a devoted wife, Mildred Anthony, three sons, Cleve (Eva), Gary
and Roy Anthony, Wetumpka, AL, eight grandchildren, one uncle, Sylvester Antony,
Waterbury, CT, one aunt, Lottie (Hamlin) McDade, Tuskegee, AL, a special nephew,
Evander (Ethel) Anthony, Tuskegee, AL and a host of other relatives and friends.
 The body will lie-in-state at the church one hour prior to funeral services.

Additional Comments:
Served as 1st Black Deputy Sheriff of Elmore County.  At time of posting, the
following are deceased, his wife, Mildred Cain Anthony (b. 1922/10/17-d.
1999/10/24) and his aunt, Lottie Bell Anthony McDade (b. 1930/5/17-d. 2003/7/9)
(my mother), so there names may be revealed.
