List of Names which were moved from the old Darden Family Cemetery and 
relocated to Mt. Gilead Cemetery.

When Lake Martin Dam was built in the 1920's several old family cemeteries were 
removed because their current location was going to be covered by water.  One 
family cemetery Darden Cemetery was located in Elmore County close to where the 
Lake Martin Amphitheater is located today.  The graves I know of were removed 
to three different Cemeteries. Mt Gillead,Harmony and Old Prospect Cemetery.

This is a list of names moved to Mt. Gilead Cemetery from Old Darden Cemetery

Two maps showing the locations of graves in both cemeteries along
with the charted numbers will be posted to the archives as well.
