The introductory sermon was preached by Elder J. D. Beck, from 21st chapter of Mathew, and a part of the 28th verse---“Son, go work to- day in my vineyard.” After a recess of an hour, the delegates assembled in the Church, and the Association was called to order by the Moderator, Elder A. Jay, and opened by singing and prayer, by Elder P. H. Lundy, and the Moderator announced the Association ready for the transaction of business. The Moderator appointed Elder W. G. Curry, A. J. Robinson, B. F. Riley, to read letters. The letters were read, contents noted, and the delegates enrolled. (See tabular statement.)
