Jackson - Escambia Co., AL The Pine Belt News Brewton, AL January 7, 1915 Death of Mrs. C.M. Jackson The many friends of Mrs. C.M. Jackson were shocked last Saturday to hear that she had passed from earth to the great beyond. She was sick only a few days and was not thought to be dangerously ill. She was visiting relatives when stricken and returned to her home at Center Grove, Route 2, last Wednesday and passed away Saturday. Mrs. Jackson was 66 years old and had been a widow for several years. She joined the Missionary Baptist Church when only sixteen and had been a faithful member ever since. Her loved ones and friends have the assurance that she has gone to rest and is only asleep in Jesus until that great day when we all shall meet face to face with him. Mrs. Jackson was a good; kind and lovable woman. To know her was to love her and we shall miss her. She is survived by two sisters, Misses Jane and Zilphie Burnham, three children, Andrew M., Sam M., and James F. Jackson, several grandchildre and a host of friends who mourn her demise. May God bless wach one and help them to so live that they may meet her again in that great city where there will be no tears or goodbyes.
