Obit of Ariel Clarke Wood - Baldwin County, Alabama.  

Ariel Clark Wood, 49, owner of Wood's Taxi Service,
died suddenly last Thursday, February 3, 1949,
while fishing at Spring Creek of a medical problem.

Mr. Wood was born Dec. 27, 1999 in Warehouse Point, Conn.
He moved to North Carolina where he met his wife Ruby and
later moved to Brewton, AL.

Mr. Wood came to Foley several years ago from
Brewton, Ala., and has since been in the taxicab
business here.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruby Wood, two
daughters, Barbara and Betsy, and two sons,
Donald and James.

Funeral services were held at Foley Mortuary
February 5, 1949, at 3:00 PM, with burial in
Breton, Ala.

Rev. C. E. Avinger officiated at the services
in Foley.
