Sent to Mrs. Elizabeth Moses Bridges from her daughter Lona Bridges Christopher. Attala, Ala July 17th Dear Mother, I received your letter a few days ago was glad to hear from you. We are all well as common and. I hope you are well, we having a lots of rain. We had the hardest rain yesterday I ever saw. Dora was very sick last week. She is better now she came down here the__ and stayed until yesterday. She looks worse than I ever saw her, they run an excursion train from Gadsden to Atlanta Monday got back Tuesday night. Mr. Gilmore went he was conductor on the train. They had a big crowd, 6 coaches full. Dora and Mary was going Dora got sick and Mary would not go without Dora. Willie and Mr. _nunly left Monday to find work. They went to Aniston they said if they did not get work there they would keep going untill they found some he did not go to Guntersville the work there he said would only last three weeks. He wanted a longer job. June went to Gunterville Wednesday. Willie said he would write when he found him a stoping place he did not take his clothes he did not want to be bothered with them until he found work. Then I will send his trunk to him. June has had another big rising on his jaw the Dr. lanced it last Sunday. It had got nearly well when he left, well as i have no news to write I will close write soon my love to you all.
