Mrs. Mattie Aldridge
ARAB—Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Garner Aldridge, 73, were held Sunday at 
Arab First Methodist Church with Bishop Clair Lurcell and the Rev. Jack 
Dillard officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville with 
Gober Funeral home directing.

Mrs. Aldridge died Friday at her home after a long illness.

Surviving are her husband; a son, John Garner  Young, Montgomery; two 
daughters, Mrs. James Gordon Bennett, Chattanooga, and Mrs. William Yarbrough, 
Huntsville; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
