Mrs. Allison Succumbs Operation

Since our press for this edition was put into operation, news was flashed over 
the wires this morning that Mrs. Leila Allison, of Gadsden, Ala., was dead.  
She was submitted to an operation at a Birmingham hospital Friday from the 
effects of which, together with the disease, she could not recover but passed 
away Sunday afternoon at 5 o’clock.

Mrs. Allison was a sister of Mrs. A.J. McGee, of Butler, who has been 
constantly at her bedside since the operation and with her at the time of her 
death.

Many are her Butler friends who extend heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved 
family and relatives.
