VELMA MATILDA RINEHART AULTMAN January 29, 1880 - November 12, 1963 Obituary from a Gadsden newspaper Mrs. Velma M. Aultman, 83, 940 First Avenue, died yesterday at her residence following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Collier-Butler Chapel with the Revs. Flavis Burroughs and Hollis Preston officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Rev. Donald Aultman, Mack Aultman, Billy Baker, Clifford Cox, Bobby Gene Aultman, Joe Walker, Buddy Hancock and Bobby Gerald Aultman. Survivors include six daughters, Miss Nancy Aultman, Mrs. T. L. Hancock and Mrs. W. R. Walker, all of Gadsden; Mrs. J. T. Baker, Selma; Mrs. C. L. Cox, Birmingham; and Mrs. H. C. Clark, Glenco; four sons, A. W. Aultman, Gadsden, J. D. Aultman, Piedmont; Cecil F. Aultman, Glenco; and Rev. L. H. Aultman, Cleveland, Tenn.; 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. A native of Perry County and a resident of Etowah County most of her life, Mrs. Aultman was a member of the Noccalula Church of God. The body will remain at the residence and will lie in state at the Chapel for an hour prior to the service.
