Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a. m. in Sardis Baptist Church, with the Revs. Scott Bryant and A. A. Tanner officiating. Burial was in Sardis Cemetery, with Gillespie-Barksdale Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Versie Creel Brock; two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Jane Moore, Susan Moore and Miss Joyce Ann Brock, Boaz; one son, James Lowell Brock, Boaz; one grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Etta Fisher, Huntsville, Mrs. Alice Kelley and Mrs. Ella Mann, both of Cullman and Mrs. Lela Brannon, Akron, Ohio; and four brothers, Jim, Luther, Leonard and Charlie Brock, all of Cullman. A native of Cullman, Mr. Brock had lived in Gadsden 16 years and in Boaz six months. He was a former Republic Steel Corp. employee, and a carpenter. Mr. Brock was a Mason and a member of Sardis Baptist Church and Dwight Lodge No. 550 in Alabama City.
