Mrs. Lillian Burke

BOAZ—Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Ruth Noel Burke, Boaz, who died Friday 
in a Gadsden hospital, were held Saturday at the First Baptist church. The 
Revs. J. Holland Thomas and Ralph Mathis officiated.

Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery with Carr Brown Service Mortuary directing.

She is survived by a son, Wayne Burke of Boaz;  a sister, Mrs. Clarence Coe of 
Mobile; two brothers, Elton Noel, Boaz, and Col. William Noel, Cape Cod, 
Mass.; two nieces and six nephews.

She was a native of the Sardis Community in Etowah County and was employed by 
the Goodyear Plant in Gadsden for 17 years. She was a member of the First 
Baptist Church of Boaz.
