Mrs. Mollie Cobb

BOAZ—Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Cobb, 86, former resident of Miller 
Street, Albertville, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lilla Stone of 
Mt. Vernon Homes, Saturday following a long illness, were to be held today at 
3 p.m. at Freeman’s Chapel Methodist Church with the Revs. Thomas Lang and 
Raymond Cook officiating.

Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Gillespie-Barksdale Funeral 
Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were to include her grandsons, P. B. Shelton, Burt, Bobby, Elmo, 
Billy and Verbon Thompson.

Honorary pallbearers were to include J. T. Stone, Bob Stone, C. V. Thompson 
and C. B. Dean.

She is survived by two daughters. Mrs. C. V. Thompson and Mrs. Stone, both of 
Boaz; a brother, Barnard Ragsdale, Sarasota, Fla.: a sister, Mrs. W. B. 
Shirey, Eyffe; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was a native and a life long resident of Marshall County.

The body was to be at the Gillespie-Barksdale Funeral Home until the hour of 
services.
