Funeral services will be Wednesday 2 p.m. from Antioch Baptist Church, Liberty, Ala. with the Rev. Rayford Duck officiating, interment in the adjoining cemetery. Active pallbearers: Johnny Malcom, Joe Gattis, Roy Heald, Lloyd Heald, Virgil Smith, Horace Powell, P. E. Diggs, Jerry Gattis. Survivors: six daughters, Mrs. John Beck and Mrs. A. G. Powell, Gadsden; Mrs. Earl Cook, Stone Mountain, Ga.; Mrs. Bessie Hale and Mrs.Grace Alexander, Attalla; Mrs. Mamie Gattis, Atlanta; six sons, Walker Gattis, Atlanta; John and Clifford Gattis, Gadsden; Roland Gattis, Russellville, Ala.; Thomas and Otis Coin, Attalla; 42 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Coin was a native of Winston County; resident of Blount and Etowah County for most of her life, member of Prospect Baptist Church. The body will remain at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John Beck, 1325 Alabama Avenue, until the hour of service.
