JOHNNY JACOBS GECLKES

GUNTERSVILLE—Funeral for Johnny Jacobs Geckles, 80, was held Wednesday at 
Claysville Holiness Church with the Rev. Clint Bright officiating.

Burial was in Preston Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home directing.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Halcomb Geckles; three sons, Albert and 
Johnny Geckles, both of Claysville, and Carl Geckles of Grant; four daughters, 
Mrs. Ellen Anderson, Mrs. Mary Parker, both of Clarksville; Mrs. Sarah 
McCullough,Scottsboro Route 3; Mrs. Vernell Baker, Guntersville Route 2; a 
brother, Frank Geckles of Guntersville; a sister, Mrs. Hannah Beasley, 
Texarkana, Ark.; a half-brother, Joe Geckles, Texarkana; 41 grandchildren and 
nine great-grandchildren.
