William L. Gentry 

CENTRE—Funeral services for William L. Gentry, 85, Centre Route 1 were to be 
held today at 2 p.m. in Hunts Chapel, with the Rev. J. R. Hawthorne 
officiating. Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery, Perry Funeral Home in 
charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gentry died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital, following a short 
illness.

Active pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Survivors include a son, Charley E. Gentry; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Flora 
Butler, Mrs. Florence Garner, Mrs. Fanny Gentry, and Mrs. Billie Lee and five 
grandchildren.
