ZULA HARPER Mrs. Zula Elizabeth Harper, 78, 708 Spring Street, died yesterday at 5:57 a.m. at her residence following a long illness. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Collier-Butler Chapel with the Rev. Roy Akridge and the Rev. R. H. Ridgeway officiating. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Lamar Harper, Wilson Harper, Theodore Harper, Robert Harper, Alfred Harper, David Harper, and Joel Harper. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Jack Brock, the Rev. Jim Bachelor, the Rev. Richard Reid, the Rev. E. E. Smith, Porter Wester, Delmas Dutton, T. E. Edwards, E. W. Story, J. C. Ford, Wallace McClendon, Early Whitten and all personal friends. The body will remain at the residence until the hour of service. A member of the North 11th Street primitive Baptist Church, Mrs. Harper had been a resident of Gadsden for 43 years. She is survived by her husband, David A. Harper; two daughters, Mrs. Ozella Harris, and Mrs. Virginia Grimes, both of Gadsden; three sons, J. S. Harper, Gadsden, the Rev. J. W. G. Harper, Shelbyville, Tenn., and the Rev. V. A. Harper, Altoona; three sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Hunt, Arab, Mrs. Etta Dobbs, Guntersville, Mrs. Julie Hayes, Union Grove; a brother, J. W.
