J. D. HUDSON, OF N. GADSDEN, DIES

J. D. Hudson, 66 years of age, of North Gadsden, died Tuesday afternoon at 3 
o'clock at Gadsden hospital.  He was employed at the rod mill of Gulf States 
Steel company.

The funeral will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Twelfth Street 
Baptist church, and the services will be conducted by Rev. W. C. Henson.  
Burial will be in Forrest Cemetery.

Mr. Hudson is survived by four sons, H. C., M. L., W. L., and Jim Hudson, all 
of this community, and three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Cook, of Gadsden, Mrs. Ella 
Teague, of Crossville, and Mrs. Susie Bryant, of Blountsville.

Pallbearers at the funeral will be L. N. Hill, C. L. Hawkins, R. L. McDowell, 
G. C. Hipp, A. C. Barger and George Mullins.
