Obituary from The Gadsden Times

Hudson, William George T.

Funeral was to be at 3:30 p. m. today at Collier-Butler Chapel for William 
George T. Hudson, 68, Route 6, Gadsden, who died Monday, Aug. 5, 1991.  The 
Revs. Lawrence Patterson and Louie Bankson were to officiate.  Burial in Lee 
Cemetery.  Collier-Butler Funeral Home was in charge.

Mr. Hudson was a native of Blount County and a resident of Etowah County most 
of his life.  He was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Jewell Hudson; sons, David Hudson, Gadsden, 
and Ray Hudson, Steele; daughter, Virginia Kilgore, Gadsden; daughters-in-law, 
Geneva and Sharon Hudson; son-in-law, Jerry Kilgore; grandchildren, Sheila 
Wood, Jason Hudson, Jeff Kilgore, Kelly Kilgore, Donnie Hudson and Kevin 
Hudson; great-grandchildren, Doug and Krystal Wood, granddaughter-in-law, Misty 
Kilgore; grandson-in-law, Ricky Wood; brothers, Ernie Hudson, Gadsden, Loyal 
Hudson and J. D. Hudson, both of Ohatchee; sisters-in-law, Florence, Martha and 
Martha Nell Hudson; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by a son, Roy Wayne Hudson, a daughter, 
Dorothy May Hudson, his father, William Riley Hudson, and mother, Gladys 
Bicknell Hudson.

Pallbearers will be Allen, Wayne, Ricky, Jerry, Tommy and Loyal, Jr. Hudson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Vaughan and Hiawatha Nail.
