JOHN ILG

John Ilg, 83, Akron, Ohio, father of Mrs. John N. Simon, Gadsden, died 
yesterday in Akron after a long illness.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church, 
Akron. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Surviving are four sons, Ambrose Ilg, Whittier, Calif., Ivan Ilg, Canton, 
Ohio, Norbert Ilg, Manchester, Ohio, and Brother Christopher Ilg, MSSST, 
Birmingham; three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Knapp, Akron, Mrs. Simon, and Mrs. 
Marian Hannacker, Ventnor, N.J.;  sister, Mrs. Katherine McClusky, Akron; 18 
grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was a lifelong resident of Akron and a member of the Knights of St. John.
