Funeral services will be held today at 3:30 p.m. in the Collier-Butler Chapel with Dr. O. S. Gamble officiating. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery with Hoyt Edwards, J. B. Couch, Mack Waldrup, Roy Vann, George Chamberlin, Charles Tinsley, James Jones and Clifton Lane as active pallbearers. The body will remain at the chapel. Mrs. Irwin was a member of the Central Methodist Church where she was in charge of the three-year-old nursery. She was a native of Marshall county and a resident of Gadsden most of her life. She is survived by her husband, Howard. V. Irwin; her father, J. C. Cooper, Gadsden; a brother, Homer Cooper, Gadsden; six sisters, Miss Lucile Cooper, Miss Flossie Cooper, Mrs. Ben Carr, all of Gadsden; Mrs. W. H. Taylor, Birmingham; Mrs. H. H. Parnell and Mrs. E. L. Roquemore, both of Jacksonville, Fla., and one niece. Additional Comments: Submitter not related.
