Published Thursday, November 13, 1969 in The Boaz Leader
Funeral services for L. C. Jacobs, 76, of Boaz Route 1, who died November 3rd 
were held November 5th at the Liberty Baptist Church with the Revs. Brown 
Hallmark, Dewey Bouldin, Billy Malone and Ted Scott officiating.
Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery with Carr Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by a son, L. J. Jacobs, Boaz; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Beckman of 
St. Louis; brothers, General and Monroe Jacobs, Boaz, George Jacobs, Alabama 
City, Jack Jacobs, Gadsden; sisters, Mrs. Polly Dixon, Gadsden; two 
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
