KNIGHT Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow in Collier-Butler Chapel for Robert Frank Knight, 68, 1107 Litchfield Avenue, who died at home at 11:15 p.m. Saturday, following an extended illness. Officiating will be the Revs. A. B. Farmer and E. C. Houston. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery, Collier-Butler directing. Active pallbearers will be Floyd Helms, L. B. Hammett, Marvin Knight, Merle Knight, Calvin Law, Aaron Law and Elmer Knight. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the city of Gadsden and all other personal friends. Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maud Thomas Knight; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Sproul, Gadsden; Mrs. Ann Knight Bynum, Albertville; a son Hershel V. Knight, Gadsden; two sisters, Mrs. Maud Eads, Gadsden; Mrs. Ethel Law, Anniston, and five grandchildren. A native of Cherokee County and a resident of Etowah County since 1926, he was foreman of the street department of the City of Gadsden for 20 years and was a member of Mountain Springs Methodist Church in Cherokee County.
