John R. Lambert, Collinsville Man, Is Buried Today

   Collinsville---Funeral services were held today at 10:30 a.m. for John R. 
Lambert, one of this county's most prominent citizens. Mr. Lambert died late 
Saturday at the age of 71 following a long illness.

    He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Bertie Watson Lambert; two brothers, 
Oscar of Rt. 1, Keener and Claude, Gadsden; three sisters, Mrs. Lulu Barksdale, 
Keener; Mrs. Belle Wooten, Luken City, Tenn., and Mrs. Gertie Whisenant, 
Keener. 

   Services were held today at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. 
G.C. Carter officiating. Wilson Funeral Home of Collinsville was in charge of 
arrangements.

   Active pallbearers were Wallace and Elmer Lambert; Charley C. Watson, 
Rueland Watson, Lamar Dobbs, J.T. Lambert, Lamar Lambert, Lamber and Edgar 
Barksdale and Elvin Gibson.
