Published: September 13, 1956 Boaz Leader
     Mr. Eugene Martin, son of Mr. Charles Martin followed his father in death 
the same day, September 5, at 7:40 p. m., after a short illness.  He was 50 
years old and lived in the same community as his father.
     Double funeral services were held September 7, at Happy Hill Baptist 
Church with Rev. Emory Panky and Rev. Parrish officiating.  Burial was in the 
adjoing cemetery with Jack Lee Funeral Home directing.
     Mr. Eugene Martin is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ina Bell Martin, Boaz; one 
daughter, Mrs. Louise Walker, Boaz; one grandchild; four brothers, Silas Floyd, 
S. D., both of Boaz, Leonard, Cleveland, Ohio, Clarence Martin, Jacksonvill, 
Ala.; one sister, Mrs. Gwindoly Costner, Boaz.
