Obituary from a Gadsden Newspaper

Thomas J. McRae

Funeral services for Thomas J. McRae, 42, 105 Mildred Street, who died Thursday 
night, will be held Sunday at 3 p. m. at Bellevue Baptist Church with Rev.  
Manuel Freeman and Rev. G. D. Waits officiating.

Interment will be in Clayton Cemetery with Collier - Butler Funeral Home in 
charge.

Active pallbearers will be Homer Williams, Clyde Williams, Louis T. Williams, 
Ervin Williams, Floyd Williams, Charles Delevie, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers will 
be employees of Standard-Coosa-Thatcher Co., where Mr. McRae was employed as a 
fixer and section foreman.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Inez Williams McRae; one son, Thomas L. McRae, 
Gadsden; one daughter, Sherry McRae, Gadsden; two brothers, Marvin McRae, 
Montgomery and Eather McRae, Gadsden; four sisters, Mrs. Burt Ward, 
Collinsville, Mrs. Rita Sommerville and Mrs. Jewell Sims, both of Alabama City 
and Mrs. Sherman Hudson of Boaz, and one grandchild.
